The Institute of Chartered Professional Managers of Sri Lanka (ICPMSL) and the Sri Lanka Chamber of Medical Devices (SLCMDI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The Sri Lanka Chamber of Medical Devices (SLCMDI) and the Institute of Chartered Professional Managers of Sri Lanka (CPMSL) have established a collaborative framework through this Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster professional development, knowledge exchange, and capacity building in the domains of medical technology, healthcare management, and leadership excellence.
Important Domains of Collaboration

1. Professional Development & Training:

   – Collaboratively plan training sessions, conferences, and certification courses for healthcare executives and medical device management specialists.

   – Utilize CPMSL’s professional management experience to support executive education initiatives for SLCMDI members.

2. Research & Policy Advocacy:

   – Work together on research projects pertaining to medical device innovation, regulatory frameworks, and healthcare administration.
   – Encourage the implementation of laws that will improve professional management techniques and industry standards in Sri Lanka’s healthcare sector.

3. Knowledge Exchange & Networking:

   – Encourage the sharing of knowledge across sectors by means of publications, conferences, and expert forums.
   – Provide trained managers and professionals in the medical device business with networking opportunities.

4. Certification & Accreditation:

   -Look into ways that CPMSL can offer SLCMDI members chartered management accreditation.
   – Create certification programs specifically for the medical device industry.
